In 2009, Carol Ray, a best-selling author, escrow officer, and manager of Southern California’s busiest escrow company retired.  After exploring the United States for several years with her husband Bill in a 5th Wheel RV, the couple settled in Arizona to be near their adult children.  Never people to sit still, Carol and Bill established a Notary and Loan Agent business. As their venture thrived, Carol recognized the potential of this career to provide financial stability and help people achieve their dreams.

She began coaching individuals in this field.  Then, realizing the lack of training available. Carol, along with Bill and their daughter Barbara, founded Notary2Pro. They dedicated themselves to creating the inaugural Elite Signing Agent course.  Working tirelessly from their kitchen table and home office, and leveraging relatively new technology. The Notary2Pro courses offered students invaluable training to develop a new career and achieve their dreams.

Carol’s extensive background in escrow and business management equipped her with a unique perspective, extensive expertise, and valuable knowledge.  Her talent as a writer and teacher sprang from her unique ability to convey complex ideas in an easily understandable manner. Carol’s gentle and reassuring teaching style also instilled great confidence in her students.

Always humble, Carol was surprised that Notary2Pro would ultimately assist thousands of individuals in building successful careers and thriving businesses while bringing prosperity to their lives and families. In the process, Carol emerged as one of the most respected figures in the industry, contributing significantly to the evolution of the signing industry.

Her extensive experience as a Loan Signing Agent helps to mentor students and graduates.

The family suffered a terrible loss again when co-founder Barbara passed away suddenly in April of 2023.  But today a new generation of Carol’s family is involved.  Granddaughter Chelsea, a highly experienced and trained educational consultant and instructional designer has taken a pivotal role in helping Notary2Pro design the most recent upgraded and refreshed Elite Loan Signing Agent course and the several other courses launching soon. And Chelsea’s grandfather Bill, Carol’s husband and Notary2Pro cofounder, is still part of the business.  He works on advising the family on all things and assuring that they carry out Carol’s vision every day.

Carol loved her students as family, and loving nothing more than family. Carol would be so happy to see her husband, children and grandchildren working together to carry out her legacy.
